According to a weblog from programmer Chris Toshok, his San Francisco home was raided at 6.30 am last Wednesday (14th) by both the FBI and the US Secret Service. The officials apparently removed nine PCs and other related equipment. The warrant given to Toshok stated that the agencies were searching for "...any IP addresses related to any of the Valve internal or external networks... Valve passwords and/or usernames... any and all items... related to Valve Software, Half-Life, Half-Life 2". Curiosuly Toshok’s other comments are ambiguous concerning his guilt. Meanwhile, it has also been reported that many frequenters of The Hungry Programmers site were also raided on the same date and for the same reasons. Source: Slashdot
