Ex-Sega.com Execs Launch Gaming ISP

Two former Sega.com executives, Brad Huang and Lynn MacConnell, have launched New Millennium Entertainment, a ISP targeting online gamers.
Huang, who was the CEO of Sega.com, and MacConnell, who was Sega.com's CTO, say their company will provide higher connection speeds and lower latency than other ISPs to subscribers in the U.S. and Canada, and will be able to handle up to one million simultaneous gamers. Huang and MacConnell say their network will support all gaming platforms that ship with an online capability, including PCs Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube and Dreamcast. New Millennium begins testing its network this month, and will formally launch the service later this spring.
