Representatives from UK publisher Empire Interactive have revealed the company’s results for the first half of 2003. The figures show a move back into profitability after record half year revenues – rising over 40% to £15.7 million ($26m). In the six months ended June 20 the company posted a pre-tax profit of £228,000 ($377,850), compared to a loss of over £1.5 million ($2.5m) in the same period last year. These greatly improved results were largely due to high-profile releases Starsky & Hutch and Big Mutha Truckers.
