The UK's Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) posted its monthly sales award for the region, with two Wii titles, Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii, selling over one million copies and reaching Diamond Status since their release in April this year. Big Brain Academy for Nintendo DS and FIFA 08 for PlayStation 2, released in July and September of 2007 respectively, sold 600,000 units each to gain Double Platinum Status. FIFA 09 for the PlayStation 3 looks to follow its predecessor with its Platinum Status and 300,000 units sold already since debuting in October of this year. Recent Xbox 360 releases Gears of War 2 and Call of Duty: World at War also reached Platinum Status, while Fable II and the PS3 version of World at War saw about 200,000 copies sold, both earning Gold Status. LittleBigPlanet, World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King, and Fallout 3 (Xbox 360), among other titles, reached the ELSPA's Silver Status with some 100,000 units sold apiece.
