The Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association, a trade organization representing the electronic game industry’s retail companies, said in a press release that its annual Executive Summit has sold out for the fifth year in a row.
"We are thrilled to announce that the Summit has grown beyond our expectations," said Hal Halpin, president of the IEMA in a press release issued today. More than 700 retail and publisher attendees registered to attend this year, he added. "In addition, we sold-out all of the suites and meeting rooms due to an increased participation from vendor companies and their respective executives--our new challenge is managing this growth and keeping the event intimate... good problems to have."
The IEMA’s conference will be held in Henderson, Nev., rather than in California this year and will take place July 19-23.
