Eidos New Media, a division of publisher and developer Eidos focused specifically on emerging platforms and technologies, has announced a partnership with UK based Strawdog Studios to develop
Geon:emotions for Xbox Live Arcade.
Scheduled for a summer release, the game represents Eidos’ first title developed exclusively for the online service.
Described as a “psychedelic, pick-up-and-play game of rapidly changing tactics,”
Geon:emotions will support up to four players, each playing as one of eight different emotions – Rage, Passion, Fear, Envy, Rapture, Courage, Bliss or Melancholy.
According to a statement announcing the new game, each emotion will feature distinct weaknesses and strengths, which players will have to exploit in order to “collect pellets and score goals.”
