The Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival has announced its full lineup of events and game screenings. The festival will present a number of lectures and sessions, in addition to a few select premiere looks at games making their UK debut at the festival.
Among the premiering games are
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess,
Battalion Wars, and
Nintendogs from Nintendo; though the games have been seen or even released in other territories, the title have not been publicly shown in the UK as yet. Others set to appear are Peter Molyneux's
The Movies, independent titles
Darwinia and
Multiwinia, and licensed games
Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit and
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
A few of the more interesting sessions are Ian Livingstone's discussion of "Games Culture - From Geek to Chic; a look at SCEE's
EyeToy: Kinetic, developed with Nike Motionworks; Mark Green's presentation of the making of
24: The Game; and Brian Baglow's cheekily-named presentation "Made in Scotland: Scotland is the new Japan."
