A spokesman for EA said that the company suspended the game on Tuesday and that executives would decide later on Wednesday whether to reactivate the game for its tens of thousands of online players. The game involves phone calls, email, instant messages, and other modes of communication from EA to players.
"Some elements of that game that may be objectionable to some people [in light of Tuesday's terrorist attack]", said Jeff Brown, an Electronic Arts spokesman. Brown anticpates that the game will be restarted within the next week.
