Publisher Electronic Arts has instituted a program promising to replace copies of the PSP's recently released NCAA Football 07, following widespread reports of a critical "ball spotting" bug. Players of the portable NCAA Football 07 have reportedly come across what EA Sports is referring to as a "ball marking error," which returns the ball to the point of initial tackle contact following on-field runs - incorrect, since the ball should be spotted where the player falls, not where he is initially tackled. In response, the company is offering a replacement UMD disc for anyone experiencing the problem. In order to do so, users may return the faulty copy to EA's Redwood City warranty center. In addition, EA is offering its customers a coupon for its online EA Store, good for $15 off their next purchase, as well as free shipping on said order, according to an official statement on the NCAA Football game website.
