Following VP and executive producer David McCarthy's
recent Paris GDC presentation, EA has announced the full line of forthcoming Wii sports titles to use its new socially-focused 'All-Play' branding across its NCAA, NBA, and Madden line-up.
EA says that the July release of
NCAA Football 09 All-Play will launch the initiative, with "stylized gameplay that is quick and easy for fans to jump in and out of great head-to-head action," and more than 200 included schools for "the most authentic college sports gaming experience available for the Wii."
August will also see the release of
Madden NFL 09 All-Play with a new "Call Your Shots" feature that will "allow the player to create his or her own plays on the fly and direct receivers where they should run," along with a new "fast paced 5-on-5 mode which has a reduced field length and big head NFL players."
The August release of
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 All-Play will incorporate "interactive and social mini-games," with a Wii remote enabled golf swing, and "Simultaneous Online Play that allows up to four players the ability to play each hole at the same time."
Finally, October's release of
NBA LIVE 09 All-Play will feature "improved responsiveness and more control options," and
FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play will let players use their Mii characters to play alongside "Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney and other soccer stars" in a more arcade like version of the game.
FIFA will also feature "Footii Party Games called Table Soccer and Boot It for more great fun with family and friends."
Said EA Sports president Peter Moore, "The Wii platform and the Wii consumer are looking for a very unique sports experience. We're excited to take five of our most popular franchises and develop them from the ground up exclusively for the Wii, with unique controls, unique presentation, unique modes and even unique packaging."
