The U.S. branch of UK-headquartered video game magazine and website firm Future Publishing has announced that it has secured the publishing rights from 2006 to 2008 for the Official E3 Show Daily, to be given out on each day of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
According to the firm, the tabloid-sized paper will contain roughly 60 pages of content and advertising, and will be printed nightly before each of the three show days - May 10th, 11th, and 12th. Each issue will feature breaking news stories, exhibitor listings and updates, floor maps, and transportation information.
Future previously published the Official E3 Show Daily from 1999 through 2001, and in recent years, Ziff Davis has been producing the magazine, before Future's re-assumption of control this year. The 2006 E3 Show Daily will be edited by Colin Campbell, editor-in-chief of recently launched game site Next Generation.
