With no major new releases so far this year the UK sales charts continue to be dominated by discounted titles in January sales, with soccer title
FIFA 07 still firmly ensconced in the number one spot.
The only new entries in the top ten are returning favorites
Lego Star Wars II and
New Super Mario Bros., while
Canis Canem Edit (aka
Bully) continues to sell well at its new unofficial budget price.
Other returning titles in the top forty include
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team at number thirty-eight,
Guitar Hero II at number thirty-nine and the original version of
The Sims at number forty.
Stock of Wii hardware and software is still extremely limited across the UK, with
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess the only quasi-exclusive in the top forty at number thirty-six, with the GameCube version accounting for 12 percent of unit sales.
