The Digital Games Research Association International Conference (DiGRA 2007), which will be held in Tokyo, Japan from September 24-28, 2007, has invited submissions on any topic related to digital game research by July 26, 2007. The conference welcomes presentations with new and bold ideas, recent work by young scholars, and presentations that will bridge industry and academia. The following categories are provided: non- or semi-academic papers and panels (including Work in Progress and Late Breaking News), Student-Mentor Roundtable, Poster Session, and Lightening Talk Session. Although the full paper presentation submission process is closed, the DiGRA 2007 conference recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for presentations that might be left out from a rigorous review process. Interested authors are requested to submit a title and abstract or a panel proposal to Shinji R. Yamane in PDF format, not to exceed 1 page (abstract) or 3 pages (panel proposal). For details about submission in each category, request information from the DiGRA organizers.
