Digital Game Xpo and Conference Announces Keynote

The Digital Game Xpo and Conference, which takes place June 22-23, 2007 in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be hosted at Wake Technical Community College. The event is open to the public and targeted toward all levels of Game Developers, from beginner programmers to seasoned professionals. Damon Conn, a veteran director of eight years, will head as the keynote speaker. Damon Conn started his career in 1996 at Los Angeles' Westwood Studios, a division of Electronic Arts (EA), where he worked as a character animator and cinematics artist on the Blade Runner computer game. In 1999, Conn co-founded 7 Studios, where he raised a team of over 40 artists within eight years. Currently Conn is the art director of 3Dsolve where he set benchmarks for an elite level of quality by working at the production level of simulation and game development. "Damon is a veteran in his field and his extensive background and experience make him an asset to our team and to our customers," said Richard Boyd, chief executive officer of 3Dsolve.
