Develop in Brighton Conference organizer Tandem Events said the conference is now accepting speaker submissions for the UK industry gathering, which takes place from July 19-21 this year. The conference had over 1,300 game developers when it took place last year, and hosted speakers including notable industry figures such as Louis Castle, Tim Schafer, Dr. Greg Zeschuk, Peter Molyneux and Ed Vaizey MP. Speaker submissions for the 2011 gathering are due by April 1, 2011 at the conference's official website. Develop in Brighton is now in its sixth year. Potential speakers must fit into one of the conference's tracks, which include art, audio, business, coding, design, production or "Evolve" (which focuses on game development for new platforms, markets and technology). Submissions can be for either 60-minute lectures including a question and answer session or for a 60-minute panel. Tandem events managing director Andy Lane offered, "It's really important that developers can help shape the conference and by submitting a talk and sharing their experiences, they can do just that."
