Event organizer Tandem Events has revealed more details of the program for the 2008 Develop Conference and Expo, due to take place on July 29th to 31st in Brighton, UK.
The third annual event will feature more than 90 speakers and 60 sessions in different themed tracks focusing on audio, art, business, coding, game design, production and “world view”.
Track highlights include:
“Physical Gaming and Cameras: Out of the Lab and into the Living Room” by Diarmid Campbell of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in the coding track.
“How to Make Children Cry” by Jonathan Smith of
Lego Star Wars developer Traveller’s Tales in the game design track.
“Why We Sold Our Studio; And Why We Didn't” by Sarah Chudley of Bizarre Creations, Paul Wedgwood of Splash Damage, Ian Baverstock of Kuju Entertainment and Michael French of Intent Media in the business track.
“Creatives and How to Get the Best Out of Them” by Paul Barnett of Electronic Arts in the production track.
“Re-rendering Magical Movie Moments in Games” by Phil Gray of Traveller’s Tales in the art track.
“Secrets, Exclusive and Lies” by ex-Edge writer Ste Curran of Zoe Mode in the world view track.
