Cyber-Step, an online game developer headquartered in Chofu-shi, Tokyo, Japan, has announced the establishment of a U.S. office in California, having already moved three employees into its new division in San Jose.
Cyber-Step bills itself as the number one online action game provider in Asia, boasting 10 million (free and paid) users in China and South Korea. The company hopes to capitalize on this success in the West, aiming to capture a 1 million user base by May 2006.
The new branch will handle the management of Cyber-Step's game portal over the entire United States. The company's first move will be to localize Get Amped
; a customizable, eight-player simultaneous 3D fighting game, to debut in the West this September.
