Next month Curious Labs will release the Poser Pro Pack, a collection of advanced new features, functional enhancements and third-party application integration plug-ins for use with Poser 4. Pro Pack users will be able to host complete Poser 4 scene files including animated 3D characters via the included plug-ins for Newtek's LightWave and Discreet's 3D Studio MAX-two 3D applications. Web designers can also use the Pro Pack to add animated character content created in Poser to Web sites and other interactive projects by exporting to the Viewpoint Media Player for 3D and Macromedia Flash for 2D. Additional functionality includes 2D motion blur, multiple camera view panes, animated material parameters, compressed content and library files, and Python scripting support.
Poser Pro Pack will be $149 and will be available to owners of versions 4 through 4.0.3 of Poser. Pro Pack is available for both Windows and Macintosh.
