Officials from Viewtier Systems announced that Creative Assembly Australia (Total War series) have selected Viewtier's software release management system Parabuild to manage development of the studio's projects, including an as yet unannounced title currently in development. According to Viewtier, Parabuild “ensures uninterrupted release process by employing Viewtier’s patent-pending technology to deliver practically unbreakable scheduled builds, and provides Continuous Integration.” The announcement is the second for Viewtier this month. In early August the comapny announced that Torpex Games, developers of the forthcoming Xbox Live Arcade title Schizoid, selected the solution to manage development of its games as well. Creative Assembly Australia's lead programmer Artem Kulakov calls Parabuild a “critical part” of the studio's build and release management process, and that the tool “plays significant role” in the developer's ability to produce “reliable builds” of its games. In addition, the developer added that Parabuild’s pricing, as well as its ease of use enabled the company’s engineers to quickly acquaint themselves with the release management system, leading to increased productivity.
