Commodore To Unveil Line Of Gaming PCs

Commodore Gaming has announced the new high-spec gamer-targeted PCs to be branded with the Commodore name and logo - made famous by its 8-bit Commodore 64 home computer and the 16-bit Amiga family - to be revealed at this month's CeBIT show in Germany.
Officials from Commodore Gaming have announced the first new PC products to be branded with the Commodore name and logo, made famous in the ‘80s and ‘90s with the 8-bit Commodore 64 home computer and the 16-bit Amiga family. Commodore International Corporation (CIC) entered into a five year strategic partnership with The Content Factory last year, with plans for a line of standalone TV consoles and a handheld GPS device. However, the company now plans to unveil a new range of gaming PCs at the CeBIT 2007 show in Germany on March 15th. The company claims that the PCs will have “the highest specifications available for gamers”, with playable units expected to be available at the show. Other announcements are also promised at CeBIT, including additional aspects to the new PC line which have not yet been revealed. Commodore Gaming CEO Bala Keilman commented, "Twenty-five years ago, Commodore launched the best selling personal computer of the late 20th century, the C64, and defined the early computer games experience for millions of people worldwide. We are privileged and excited to bring the Commodore brand back to the gaming community and mark a new chapter in its history with this exceptional machine. We're sure that it will deliver what gamers need and want."
