This week's media consumption, a look at the media and art diets of our favorite industry personalities, speaks to Eidos Inc. Product Acquisition Coordinator Caspar Gray. Gray started his industry career working for a tiny start-up mail order video game distributor called Gameswire.com, before joining SCi Games as a Development Assistant. His role soon changed to being the initial acquisitions contact for the company, championing such games as Deadline's Total Overdose. In 2005 SCi purchased Eidos, and as part of the merger, Gray is now half of the product acquisitions team ("the other half being my boss, Ian 'Fighting Fantasy' Livingstone," said Gray). Titles that Gray had heavy involvement in, and is particularly proud of, include the aforementioned Total Overdose, Urban Chaos: Riot Response, and Battlestations: Midway, coming this fall for both the PC and the Xbox 360. Gamasutra had a run-in with Gray at the 2006 Game Developers Conference, and decided to catch up on his media diet following the show.
