Syrox is best know as the developer of Activision’s
Asteroids update, a title that has already sold more than one million units. “What we are buying is not only manpower, but talent, creativity and experience,” said Climax CEO Karl Jeffery, “Syrox's track record with licenses is excellent and we will be drawing upon that ability.” Syrox will become a Climax internal studio. The terms of the equity and cash deal were not disclosed.
