Reflexive Entertainment (Ricochet, Wik: Fable of Souls) has announced a new distribution deal with Chronic Logic to distribute the developer's 2005 Independent Games Festival Game of the Year award winner Gish through Reflexive Arcade, an online portal featuring both casual and independent games. Gish, which tells the heroic story of a ball of tar who takes on the underworld to save his girlfriend, is a 2D side-scrolling game that is highlighted by physics-based gameplay. With Gish joining Oasis and Wik & the Fable of Souls, Reflexive Arcade now boasts 3 IGF Game of the Year Award winners available to users of the service. The Reflexive Arcade portal also features a number of other titles, including Outpost Kaloki, Mutant Storm and Wik: Fable of Souls, each of which has also been ported to the Xbox 360's popular Live Arcade after their initial release on the PC. In addition, Reflexive is also distributing twelve other recent IGF finalists through its online portal site, including two Game of the Year finalists from this year's IGF. “Through their innovative approach to game design, independent games provide a game experience that is not only original, but also a lot of fun,” said Russell Carroll, director of marketing at Reflexive. “We're proud to be a part of making these games available to the world.”
