Officials from consumer electronics trade event CES have announced that, in reaction to the recent downsizing of E3, the 2007 International CES will be including a dedicated gaming area on the show floor of its upcoming event.
The newly organized space, called the Gaming TechZone, will be occupying the front entrance of the Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian for CES 2007, which is held from January 8th-11th 2007. It offers exhibitors space for booths to connect and do business with other attendees, including options for open interactive booths or quiet meeting and demo spaces.
Companies currently booked for the Gaming TechZone include Majesco, Novint Technologies, 3D Innovations, Wolfking, and Ultimate Game Chair, and CES hopes to make the TechZone a central destination point of the 2007 Expo.
CES is also promising, as benefits of exhibitor space, extensive show promotion including pre-show publicity opportunities, access to pre-registered press lists, up to 10,000 guest tickets, and press promotion in the official CES Daily, as well as to more than 4,500 global journalists.
