Boxx Technologies has announced the release of Juggler. Juggler is a powerful, easy to use network render management solution supporting Alias Wavefront’s Maya on Windows 2000 or Linux.
Juggler features a centralized interface that gives users flexibility and management options, including the ability to tap CPU power on desktop workstations during off-peak hours. Other Juggler features include:
- Support for an unlimited number of user-defined priority queues
- Monitor all render nodes on the network via a centralized manager
- Real-time CPU, memory and network traffic monitors
- Detailed job progress monitoring and real-time viewing of Maya log files
- Flexible frame grouping to specify how animations are distributed across processors
- Extensive error reporting with the power to resubmit single or multiple frames from failed jobs
- Generic interface to submit any batch command or script
