Game localization and outsourcing company Babel Media, which works with companies like EA, Ubisoft and Sega, says it is "significantly expanding" its operations in Montreal, having already nearly doubled its size since 2007.

Game localization and outsourcing company Babel Media says it is "significantly expanding" its operations in Montreal. Now owned by India-based firm Quattro BPO Solutions, Babel also has offices in Brighton, New Delhi, Montreal, and Los Angeles. Its Montreal branch is its most recent addition, opening in September 2005. Previously, the Montreal office had already nearly doubled in size since 2007 with a significant hiring effort. Said Babel Media CEO Richard Leinfeller of the announcement, "I am really delighted to be able to be able to announce this major expansion against a backdrop of exceptional world-wide trading conditions. "Babel's expansion will further increase our offering high quality deployment solutions for our clients helping them to improve their profits by giving them the much needed flexibility and allowing them focus on IP generation and exploitation." Babel is an approved QA test partner of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo QA test partner, as well as several mobile manufacturers. It also works with publisher companies including Sega, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft, among others.
