Publisher Atlus U.S.A. has announced it has become an officially-licensed third party publisher for the Xbox 360. As part of the announcement, the company revealed two strategy titles set to inaugurate the partnership,
Operation Darkness and
Spectral Force 3.
Atlus is generally known for its localization and publishing of Japanese RPGs, most recently
Odin's Sphere and
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, in addition to the
Trauma Center franchise.
Operation Darkness, from Japan-based developer Success, takes place in an alternate World War II era, tasking the player's team of elite soldiers with fighting Hitler and a new army of warewolves, zombies, and vampires to upend the Third Reich.
Spectral Force 3, from Japan's Idea Factory is a magically-themed strategy title revolving around the Great Neverland War, where the player leads a mercenary squad to try and unify a continent of kingdoms.
