Officials from Infogrames (which now publishes games solely under the name Atari) have announced the company’s full year sales which show a 22% fall in sales, caused by game delays and the weak dollar. Sales for the financial year ended March 31 amounted to €701 million ($844), down from €898 million ($1.07bn) last year. Net income was $766,000, translating to a loss of $38.6 million once a one-time dividend associated with the recapitalisation of the company last September is counted. As reported yesterday sales in the company fell to their lowest ever figure since April 2003, in anticipation of these results. Source: Bloomberg
