id Software creative director Tim Willits, EA Games art director Henry Labounta, and Sidhe Interactive managing director and co-founder Mario Wynands are among a lineup of speakers provided by The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences for digital creative technology conference AnimfxNZ -- taking place in Wellington, New Zealand from November 14th to the 16th.
Founded in 2006, the annual event runs under the theme “Where Creative Convergence Begins" and is dedicated to presenting a mix of international speakers from the animation, games, visual effects, and film technology industries.
The games industry speakers announced so far include AIAS president Joseph Olin, id Software creative director Tim Willits, EA Games art director Henry Labounta, and Sidhe Interactive managing director and co-founder Mario Wynands.
AIAS president Joseph Olin, also a speaker at the event, says the Academy's goal is to "support the recognition of our industry’s creative talent."
"Our participation and partnership with the conference promises to be a rewarding experience for both parties as we work toward a common goal of growing the creative digital industries," Olin adds.
