Mobile entertainment company Amp'd Mobile announced that it has incorporated mobile advertising firm AdCell Media's Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology in order to deliver Wireless Workout fitness videos directly to the handsets of Amp'd Mobile subscribers. Wireless Workout will be released by Amp'd Mobile in the late summer. The subscription for this service includes dietary advice, written instructions and a set of video clips covering more than 20 different exercises. "Amp'd Mobile continually strives to be an innovator in delivering wireless content to consumers, and with AdCell Media's technology enabling Wireless Workouts on Amp'd Mobile, we will launch a new category that has yet to truly be explored in the world of mobile media," commented Seth Cummings, Senior VP of Content for Amp'd Mobile, "We are pleased to offer our subscribers video-based personal training for them to utilize anywhere they like working out, and for them to discover another innovative way of using their Amp'd Mobile phone." The overall objective of AdCell's Mobile Ad-Insertion Technology is to make it fast, simple, and easy for advertisers, developers, publishers, and carriers to deliver ad-supported mobile content to consumers. Release 3.0 meets that objective. "It's great to be able to offer fitness advice and exercise video clips on cell phones. And because Wireless Workout includes our Mobile Ad-In Technology, advertisers will be able to place high impact ads in appropriate context with the exercises." added David Fradin, President of AdCell Media. "Amp'd Wireless Workout is the first video to use the third generation of our Ad-In technology."
