AIIDE Conference Speakers List Announced

The list of speakers giving presentations at the 2005 Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment conference has been revealed. In addition to those giving talks on their submitted papers, the invited speakers are Doug Church, Chris Crawford, Damian Isla, Bing Gordon, Craig Reynolds, Jonathan Schaffer, and Will Wright. So far, only three of the seven have listed presentation topics available on the AIIDE website. Jonathan Schaffer (University of Alberta professor known for card game AI) will focus on "Interactive Story Writing Using ScriptEase," Chris Crawford (creator of Balance of Power) will be speaking on "Art Intellignce vs. Artificial Intelligence," and Craig Reynolds (an R&D specialist at Sony Computer Entertainment) will talk about "Experiments in Crowd Simulation on the Cell Architecture." The AIIDE Conference will take place in Marina del Rey, California, from June 1-3 at the Mariott Marina del Rey.
