The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences announced the winners of its Annual Interactive Achievement Awards at the 2008 DICE Summit in Las Vegas, honoring
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, BioShock and
The Orange Box with four statues each.
Call of Duty 4 took top AIAS honors, winning the Overall Game of the Year category, as well as Console Game of the Year.
At the ceremony, hosted by comedian Jay Mohr, the AIAS also named Blizzard president, co-founder and CEO Mike Morhaime as the eleventh member of the AIAS Hall of Fame. Father of the PlayStation Ken Kutaragi was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
