AI Planning for Computer Games and Synthetic Characters, a workshop for game and synthetic character planning and design, will be held at the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling
, June 6-10 at The English Lake District in Cumbria, UK. The workshop promoters are currently putting a call out for paper submissions to be featured.
"The workshop aims to bridge the gap that currently exists between the in the abstract very efficient P&S technology and its application to computer games and synthetic characters," says the call for submissions, which is particularly focusing on the application of AI technologies in general to computer games and graphical characters.
The organizers continue: "Papers submitted should either present theoretical / practical work or report experiences with applications (describing projects or applications, the difficulties they had to overcome, some lessons learned, etc.)."
The previous submission deadline of February 17 has been extended to February 28. Papers must be no more than ten pages long, should be in PDF format, and should comply with the AAAI style template. Submissions must be sent via email to to Ruth Aylett at [email protected]
