Publisher Agetec has announced it will be localizing Skip/Route 24's (
Chibi-Robo) previously import only DS title
ArchimeDS as
LOL, a social "free-form gaming experience" that pits players against each other in a battle for laughs.
LOL was originally created by
Giftpia and
Chibi-Robo producer Kenichi Nishi in association with his studio Skip as a "comedy-training tool," noting on
the game's website that it was made by five 'volunteers' "with no budget, on their own time."
Agetec describes
LOL as a "social game" in which players create questions and draw answers in an attempt to make each other laugh. Answers are then rated by the other players and a winner is declared.
Said Agetec producer Hiro Fukuoka, “
LOLis a game with endless possibilities that can be played for hours and hours of nonstop entertainment. As long as you are a fun-loving person with a little bit of an imagination, there should be no reason you find
LOLto be anything less than a great time with your friends. It maximizes your creative abilities and puts a fun twist to it.”
