jam sessions to full-fledged rock concerts."
By contrast, MTV Games and Harmonix announced in July
that it would make Rock Band 2
the "first music game to officially support an open platform" with accessories coming from a number of third-party partners, including ION’s high-end Ion Drum Rocker and Mad Catz’s Fender Telecaster Controller, Fender Bass Controller, Full-sized Squire Stratocaster Guitar Controller, and Cymbal Expansion Pack.
Said RedOctane's business development VP Charles Huang, "Logitech is the leading producer of peripheral devices and the company is widely considered to be the gold standard for innovation and quality peripheral products. With Logitech, we know we have found the right partner who can deliver top-quality premium hardware that consumers have come to expect from Guitar Hero
