The new studio comprises several development teams as well as the assets of Software Creations, which Acclaim has just acquired. Founded in 1987, Software Creations developed EA's FIFA soccer titles, and its acquisition adds approximately 70 employees to Acclaim's roster.
Former Software Creations CEO, Paul Hibbard, has been appointed General Manager of Acclaim Studios Manchester. Hibbard will report to John Ma, Executive Vice President of Product Development for Acclaim.
