3Dlabs Revenues Up In Q4, But Loss For The Year Increases

3Dlabs announced unaudited financial results for Q4 and the year ending December 31, 2000, after the market closed on Wednesday.
The company reported Q4 revenues of $24.1 million, up 70% over 1999, and revenue for the year was up 54% to $71 million. The bad news, however, loomed large. The 3D hardware vendor reported a loss of $2.6 million ($0.12 per share) for the quarter, and the net loss on the year was up 172% over 1999, to $7.9 million ($0.39 per share). Shares of the company are down about 20% today, hovering around $1.40 per share.
