Major film development studio 20th Century Fox has hired form Ubisoft executive Adam Kline as the company's new vice president of new media, where he will oversee production of the firm's licensed video game projects.

According to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, major film development studio 20th Century Fox has hired form Ubisoft executive Adam Kline as the company's new vice president of new media, where he will oversee production of the firm's licensed video game projects. Among those titles on Kline's radar are the recently announced The Simpsons Game, currently in development by Electronic Arts for release this fall, as well as Sega's upcoming adaptation of Fox's popular Alien film franchise, with that game expected to be released in 2009. In addition, Kline will also focus on developing new e-commerce revenue streams for the company, including selling licensed content through the firm's growing family of websites. Prior to joining Fox, Kline worked as the vice president of business development at Ubisoft. He also began his own company, ADK Media Group, where he consulted with high profile clients such as EA Mobile, Lions Gate Entertainment, and Massive.
