The 2011 Canadian Games Conference in Vancouver is reminding prospective speakers that Tuesday, January 25 at midnight is its deadline for submissions. The event formerly known as GDC Canada, now organized by Reboot Communications, aims to cover topics including new business models, rapid development methods, alternative distribution models, game design stories and more. It'll be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre May 19-20. CGC will also incorporate talks and panels related to social and mobile games, content generation techniques, programming and student stories. Organizers aim to hear proposals from industry professionals on a broad range of ideas. This year, session formats include 25 and 60 minute talks, roundtables and panels, and length will be among the criteria by which the event's advisory board will make its selections. It will also evaluate depth of content, degree of interest in the topic, and the credentials of the speaker. More information on the event is available at its official website, and developers can submit proposals directly by using an online form.
