Team Fortress 2, and Ninja Theory's Stuart Adcock on 'drama in real-time' in
Heavenly Sword.
Lyon GDC (created in association with Gamasutra parent CMP) will feature 50 classes over a two day period, as well as one day of master classes and tutorials that will overlap with Game Connection business meetings.
The current list of sessions for Lyon GDC, which
recently announced a first-day keynote from Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli presenting a lecture on
Crysis, is
available at the official website.
Some of the current conference highlights include: 'Illustrative Visual Design of Team Fortress 2' by Moby Francke, Valve Software; 'A Potted History of Four Years of EyeToy Technology Development' by Mark Lintott, Eye Toy; 'The Art of Crysis' by Michael Khaimzon, Crytek; 'Millions of Players, Ready to Create...Go!!' by Florent Castelnerac, Nadeo; and 'Real Drama in Real Time' by Stuart Adcock, Ninja Theory.
As a truly international event, all English lectures at the event will be translated into French, and vice-versa. The second day keynote will be announced shortly, and new sessions and speakers will be added regularly on the website.
