The organizers of the 2006 Independent Games Festival have announced that the
online poll, which will help decide which four games are picked to be included in the modding section of the IGF, will close this Friday, July 15th.
This new part of the IGF will award the most outstanding, independently developed modifications for four major games. Interested parties can
vote on the title they would most like to see honored at the 2006 Independent Games Festival, to be held at Game Developers Conference in San Jose in March 2006, and also indicate if they are likely to be entering a mod themselves.
Listed titles to vote on include
America's Army, Battlefield 1942, Call Of Duty, Doom 3, Far Cry, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, Unreal Tournament, and
WarCraft III, with an option to vote for any other non-listed game.
