Officials from The Academy of Machinima Arts and Sciences have announced the nominations for the 2003 Machinima Awards. The full list of nominees can be found on the Academy website at
www.machinima.org, while the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 25th October at the American Museum of the Moving Image in New York.

Red vs. Blue, has no less than six nominations for best picture, best direction, best virtual performance, best writing, best editing and best independent film. Nominations in the category of best commercial/game machinima include
Halo 2 (which is curious, considering it’s not out till next year) and
Tron 2.0.
