2002 BAFTA Interactive Awards Recipients Named

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts named the recipients of its 2002 BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Awards.

Luigi’s Mansion (Nintendo/Nintendo) Sports Game
Grand Prix 4 (Microprose/Infogrames) Mobile Game
SMS Chess (Purple Software/Sony Ericsson) Multiplayer Game
Halo (Bungie/Microsoft) PC Game
Neverwinter Nights (BioWare/Infogrames) Console Game
Halo (Bungie/Microsoft) BAFTA also bestowed a cleverly titled Special Award to Ian Livingstone for his long career in interactive entertainment, from his early days of paper-gaming collaboration with Steve Jackson to the Eidos boardroom of today.
