The number of Xboxes shipped since the console’s launch was reported to be 15.5 million as of June 30, according to GameDaily. North American sales totaled 10.1 million, 3.9 million moved in Europe, and 1.5 million are said to be in the Asian/Pacific region.
The reporting agency adds that Microsoft hopes to ship more than 20 million machines by the end of the company’s 2005 fiscal year, but has hit its former expectation mark of selling between 14.5 million and 16 million.
