Video game industry icon and virtual adventurer Lara Croft has been entered into the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Most Successful Human Video Game Heroine.”
The notice coincided with the April 7 UK release of Eidos and Crystal Dynamics'
Tomb Raider: Legend for multiple platforms, including the Xbox 360. The game will ship in North America on April 11.

Tomb Raider franchise, currently valued at over $1 billion, has sold over 28 million games worldwide.
