Game engine company Trinigy has announced that Ubisoft's Blue Byte studio (The Settlers
) has licensed the company's recently announced Vision Engine 7, for unannounced forthcoming titles.
Trinigy notes that since its founding in 1988, Blue Byte has developed a number of successful franchises which have together sold in excess of 10 million units worldwide.
Announced in June
, Trinigy says the latest version of the Vision engine brings a "new generation of technology" redesigned from scratch for optimal performance on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
