The nonprofit group HopeLab, who last year designed Re-Mission
, a game for children with cancer, has just launched its next initiative, an online idea competition titled Ruckus Nation
The competition challenges participants to create a video game concept or high-tech product idea that will increase physical activity in kids, with $75,000 to be awarded to the winning concept.
HopeLab says it will develop one or more of the winning ideas into prototypes that can be tested to determine their efficacy, and successful prototypes will be turned into real products for distribution.
