2K Sports' NBA 2K10 has sold over 2 million units worldwide to date, a performance the company says marks a 60 percent year over year sales increase. "We're proud of what we've accomplished this year with NBA 2K10, and this milestone is another fantastic reason to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the NBA 2K franchise," says 2K president Christoph Hartmann. At the same time, NBA 2K developer Visual Concepts sees the return of gameplay producer Mike Wang. "It feels good to be back home with my 2K Sports family," says Wang. "Being able to work on the greatest basketball game in the world has always been paramount for me, and now having that opportunity again is a blessing." The title released October 9, 2009 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS2 and PSP, with PC and Wii releases following on October 12 and November 9, respectively.
