Max Payne Film In The Works

Announced within the Max Payne instruction manual but not solidified until today, Collision Entertainment, along with Dimension Films and Abandon Entertainment, will bring the 3D Realms/Remedy Entertainment title Max Payne to the big screen.

No target release date was set for the film. Collision Entertainment, which already is in early development of a film based upon American McGee's Alice, acquired film and television rights to Max Payne. Dimension Films will distribute the film domestically, and Abandon Entertainment has agreed to take on the movie's international distribution. Both firms are also handling the distribution of Alice, as well.
