The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences announced its peer-selected nominees for the 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, taking place at DICE Summit 2009 on February 19th in Las Vegas, with comedian Jay Mohr hosting.
Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet picked up 10 nominations, while Epic Games'
Gears of War 2, Valve Software's
Left 4 Dead, Konami's
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Bethesda Game Studios'
Fallout 3, and Lionhead Studios'
Fable II also picked up multiple nods.
Infinity Ward's
Call Of Duty 4 was one of the biggest winners at
last year's ceremony, winning the Overall Game of the Year category, as well as Console Game of the Year.
